Celebrating 100 Years of AO Chapter House

September 20 marks a milestone in our history: the 100th Anniversary of the AO Chapter House. Brothers, alumni, family, and friends are all invited to gather in Bloomington to honor a century of memories, tradition, and brotherhood.
Event Schedule
The celebration kicks off at noon and runs through the afternoon:
12:00 – 12:45 PM | Arrival, registration, and silent auction
1:00 PM | Opening remarks from Will Disinger; Food & Beverage station open; Cash Bar available
2:00 – 3:00 PM | Presentations and remarks from:
Bob Disinger (Ed Foundation)
Alex Martens (High Pi)
Courtney Bishop (Bike Team Coach)
Carter Gutt (High Alpha)
1:00 – 4:00 PM | Chapter House open for tours
4:00 PM | Closing remarks from Will Disinger
Important Details
Bloomington will be buzzing this weekend—it’s Parents’ Weekend at IU and a ranked Big Ten football matchup is set for Saturday night. Please allow extra time for traffic and plan ahead for parking.
On-site parking is limited. Guests may use side street parking on S. Highland Ave.
Thanks to the generosity of the Bloomington Institute of Region, additional parking is available at their facility:
(directly behind the T.I.S. parking lot).
After the Program
The celebration doesn’t end at 4:00 PM! The undergraduates will be hosting a tailgate in the grass lot on 17th St. Look for the LXA flag and join in the festivities.
This anniversary is more than just a milestone—it’s a chance to reconnect, honor our history, and build momentum for the next century of AO Chapter House. We can’t wait to see you there!
